Forbidden Druid LITE ebike
Welcome to the new Forbidden Druid LITE ebike.
KEY STATS
One ride on the AVINOX DRIVE SYSTEM from tech industry POWERHOUSE,
DJI, was all it took for us to decide we had to have the system on this bike!
150mm F / 140mm R suspension travel
Weight class: sub 20kg (44lbs)
105 Nm max continuous torque
(120 Nm on Boost)
850 W peak power
(1000 W on Boost)
600 Wh battery*
*800 Wh option is available aftermarket
Avinox delivers class leading weight with power that DESTROYS THE
COMPETITION. Druid has always been a bike that likes to punch above
its weight class, and Avinox by DJI does exactly the same.
IT’S THE PERFECT MATCH!
We reworked our Trifecta suspension to package around the new DJI Avinox
motor. It still packs a rearward axle path, just slightly less exaggerated.
The Druid litE, and the Druid corE share the same frame. So if you want to build something in between the 2 options, such as a litE with an 800wh battery, we can help.
Spec lists and geo are in the images.
E-bike Specific Geo
Druid E gets the full OneRide proportional sizing treatment and is the world’s first truly
proportionally sized e-bike. Thanks to motor assistance, the bike’s geometry and ride position
can be more downhill-oriented, where control and composure matter most. This is why you’ll
find a taller front end, slack angles, a mixed-wheel platform, and short cranks. That 467mm reach on an S3 might have you scratching your head, but hear us out. While the
industry often associates shorter reach with outdated geometry, in this case, when combined
with taller stack, it’s a functional adjustment to ensure good fit. For more on this check out the
video above (if you haven’t already).
Increased stack, combined with shorter cranks, lifts your head up and squares off your stance,
putting you in a more natural-feeling, upright position. From this position, you’re better equipped
to control and manoeuvre the bike, allowing you to flick it around as if the extra system weight
isn’t even there.
Continuing in the vein of DH-focused handling, we’ve chosen to go with a mullet setup. This
setup gives the rider more influence over the chassis of the bike, making it easier to initiate and
maintain direction changes. And while you might think all this DH-oriented geometry would be a detriment on steep climbs,
with our proportional geometry, the rear-centres grow and seat angles get steeper as you go up
in size, keeping you centred on the bike, both up and down the hill.
The end result is a bike that feels stable, confidence-inspiring, and intuitive in all riding
situations.
